Jail Corrections Officers - Minimum Qualifications

  • United States Citizen
  • Valid Drivers License (Valid Indiana License by appointment)
  • No Felony Convictions or misdemeanor convictions of domestic violence
  • Have legal ability to possess a firearm
  • High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Pass all components of th Selection Process
  • No dishonorable dischare or undesirable discharge from any Armed Forces Branch
  • Pass stringent drug screen
